Inspiring Learning Beyond the Classroom

Become an Educational Partner with Texas Homeschool Magazine

Helping museums and educational destinations connect with one of the fastest-growing communities of lifelong learners.

Every day, museums, historical sites, science centers, nature preserves, libraries, and educational organizations create experiences that inspire curiosity, preserve history, and bring learning to life. At Texas Homeschool Magazine, our mission is to help homeschool families discover those experiences while building meaningful relationships with the organizations that make them possible. Whether you're a small local museum, a statewide attraction, or a nationally recognized educational destination, we'd love to explore how we can work together to inspire the next generation of learners.

Why This Matters

Homeschooling has become one of the fastest-growing educational movements in the country, creating new opportunities for museums and educational destinations to connect with families who actively seek meaningful learning experiences throughout the year.

We've Been the Families Walking Through Your Doors

For more than a decade, museums, historical sites, nature centers, libraries, and educational destinations have been an important part of our family's homeschool journey.

Some of our favorite lessons didn't happen around the kitchen table. They happened while standing in front of historic artifacts, exploring science exhibits, walking nature trails, and discovering the stories that make Texas such an incredible place to learn.

Over the years, we've shared many of those experiences on social media. Along the way, one question came up again and again:

"Where should we go next?"

Homeschool families wanted to know which museums were worth the drive, where they could find meaningful educational experiences, and which organizations truly welcomed homeschool families. At the same time, we discovered so many incredible museums and educational destinations doing amazing work that simply weren't reaching the homeschool community they hoped to serve.

We realized we could do more than answer those questions—we could help build lasting connections between homeschool families and the organizations that bring learning to life.

That's why we created the Educational Partner Program—a relationship-driven initiative designed to connect homeschool families with museums, historical sites, science centers, nature preserves, libraries, and educational destinations that bring learning to life.

Our goal is to help homeschool families discover the places where learning comes to life while giving museums and educational organizations an authentic way to share their mission with families who value hands-on learning, educational travel, and lifelong curiosity.

We believe that when families and educational organizations are connected, everyone benefits. Museums welcome new visitors, families discover incredible learning opportunities, and together we inspire a lifelong love of learning while helping families explore Texas—and the incredible educational destinations beyond its borders.

How It Works

1. Start With a Complimentary Spotlight

We’d love to get to know your organization.

Qualified museums and educational nonprofits may begin with a complimentary spotlight, allowing us to introduce your organization to our readers while learning more about your educational mission.

2. Grow the Partnership

Many organizations choose to continue working with us through one of our annual partnership opportunities.

Together, we’ll determine the best fit based on your goals, organization, and audience.

3. Inspire Families Year-Round

Whether through our magazine, website, blog, newsletter, directory, or social media, our goal is to help homeschool families discover educational destinations they’ll return to again and again.

Educational Partner Opportunities

Texas Educational Partners

Our Texas Educational Partner Program is designed for museums, historical sites, science centers, nature centers, libraries, zoos, aquariums, botanical gardens, and educational nonprofits located throughout Texas. These annual partnerships are focused on helping homeschool families discover meaningful educational experiences close to home through a combination of print, digital, and social media outreach. Together, we’re building a statewide network of trusted educational destinations that inspire learning all year long.

Featured Educational Travel Destinations

Homeschool families love to travel, and some of the most memorable learning experiences happen beyond Texas. Our Educational Travel Partner Program is designed for outstanding educational destinations outside of Texas that want to introduce their organization to Texas homeschool families planning vacations, road trips, and educational adventures. These partnerships provide strategic visibility while complementing our mission of connecting families with meaningful places to learn.

Texas Homeschool Resource Guide

Our Homeschool Resource Guide is designed for curriculum publishers, homeschool co-ops, tutors, educational businesses, enrichment programs, bookstores, and service providers that support homeschooling families throughout Texas. This guide will connect families with educational resources while providing participating organizations with year-round visibility through our website, print magazine, and digital outreach.
